I hope those who celebrated had a great Christmas :-). I know you are anxious for some homework, do here goes your first response choice:
Describe your favorite character from your literature circle book. What are some traits you like about this character? Do they remind you of yourself or someone else in your life? What role do they play in the plot of your story?
Your blog post needs to contain:
1. The answers to my questions
2. Specific evidence from the text
3. Complete sentences
4. Proper grammar and spelling
5. At least 3 sentences
You need to post at least once over break. I will post more options in the next few days. You can get extra credit if you provide a thoughtful and respectful response to a classmate's post.

DeleteThe title of my book is Artemis Fowl:THE TIME PARADOX and my favorite character is Artemis the main character of the story.The traits I like about my character is that he is clever, he's a person who likes to plan out a strategy,and always tries to worry about people he care's about.He reminds me of of this show I watch on the TV network which is Cartoon Network. EVIDENCE FROM THE TEXT:She magnified Artemis's heart and discovered a second heat source superimposed over the first, distinguishable only by a slightly cooler shade of red. Even at this desperate moment, Opal could not help but admire this young human, who attempted to mask the lemur's heat signature with his own. Clever. But not ingenious. So that's why I like the main character Artemis Fowl(You should read this book,IT'S PRETTY AWESOME)

My favorite character is Patch. Patch is a fallen angel who needed to kill Nora to become human but fell in love with her instead and became a full angel again for saving her life which he didn't want to be. I love his boldness because he wasn't afraid to make it known he liked Nora for example in gym class he described Nora's actions like playing with her hair as a example of what attracted people to each other so they would reproduce. Patch reminds me of my little brother who wasn't afraid to tell me my cooking isn't up to par. Patch is a big part of the story because he is the reason Nora was getting stalked and people got killed because of Patch's connection to Elliot the antagonist in the story who wanted to kill Nora to get back at Patch.
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one I finished the book in 2 days!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is Towiah. I like her personilty she is so different from every body, she like a loner a little. And one of my favorite Quote in this book is "It creep up from his face like all those memories of our days before here and all those sweet promies - a lot of promise - of what ahead of us." I love this quote because it was loike it been a while season her dad smile. And Towiah older sister going to collage early. I know how that feel Your older sister going away for a coulpe of Year. That sad but she can always visit.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the book was when Susanna finally was able to release all the people who were accussed of witchcraft from prison including her family, but then she got married to a boy named Johnathan and was able to see her brother William, Plus My least favorite part was when the circle of girls accussed Susanna's mom as a witch and then when she got released from jail she got ill because the jail ruined her health.what a sad surprise!

DeleteMy book is called Divergent. The main character is Beatrice, later known as Tris. My favorite part of the book is when Tris has to pick her faction. As a surprise she picks the polar opposite of her original faction. Tris remins me od myself .We both are not afraid to step out of our comfort zone. I hope to finish the book by the end of break. :)

DeleteMy book title is I want to Live and my favorite character is Nina. She reminds me of me because she doesn't give up. She didn't fit in to her school but she didn't give up trying to make new friends. She made friends and wasn't bullied anymore.

DeleteI like "13 little blue envelopes".I love this book because it's interesting and a mystery.And that's what I love in a book .Now the characters Ginny she is outgoing and curious.It reminds me of me.That is why it is my favorite literature book .Oooh and thank you Ms.Staff for letting me borrowing it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character from my book was April. I liked her because she already read a lot before she found the card. April reminds me of my mom because she likes to read a lot too. From all the characters, April best fits the type of person I would like to be. I enjoy reading because it expands your imagination.

DeleteThe book i am reading is called Divergent.The main character is Beatrice.i like her because she does not want to be factionless which is like being homeless she does everything she can to be a dauntless.I am on page 99 in the book.I hope I get to read the others in the series.
ReplyDeleteThe book im reading is called Bud,Not Buddy.My favorite character is the main character Bud.this is my favorite character because he had the courage to still stay strong even though he had no parents for now on the streets.this character reminds me of the homeless boys on the streets outside. I cant wait till he finds his father.
